Agreement to terms
By accessing and using the chromatic-wave.com website and enrolling in our programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
About our services
chromaticwave provides financial education programmes for children and teenagers. Our services are educational in nature and do not constitute financial advice.
We are not regulated financial advisors. We do not provide investment advice, tax advice, or specific financial product recommendations.
Enrolment and payment
Enrolment process
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and our email confirmation.
Places are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline enrolments if programmes are full or if we believe the programme is not suitable for the participant.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices are subject to change, but confirmed enrolments will honour the price at the time of booking.
Payment
Payment is required in full at the time of enrolment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card, and credit card.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation by you
You may cancel your enrolment under the following terms:
- More than 14 days before programme start: Full refund minus £25 administrative fee
- 7-14 days before programme start: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before programme start: No refund, but you may transfer to another programme within 6 months
- After first session: No refund
Refund requests must be made in writing to [email protected]
Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied after the first session, notify us within 7 days and we will provide a full refund, no questions asked.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel a programme if:
- Minimum participant numbers are not met
- An educator is unavailable due to illness or emergency
- Circumstances beyond our control prevent delivery
If we cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another programme.
Programme attendance
Attendance requirements
Regular attendance is important for programme effectiveness. We understand circumstances may prevent attendance occasionally.
If a participant misses more than two sessions, we may contact you to discuss whether continuation is appropriate.
Missed sessions
We do not provide refunds for missed sessions due to participant absence.
Where possible, we will provide materials to help participants catch up. Makeup sessions may be available at our discretion.
Programme changes
We may need to reschedule sessions due to educator availability, venue issues, or other circumstances. We will provide as much notice as possible.
If rescheduling is not suitable for you, we will offer a transfer to another programme or full refund.
Participant conduct
We expect all participants to:
- Treat educators and other participants with respect
- Engage constructively with programme content
- Follow reasonable instructions from educators
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or poses a safety concern. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of children is our priority. All educators undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
If we have concerns about a child's welfare, we will follow our safeguarding procedures, which may include contacting parents or relevant authorities.
Parents should inform us of any special needs, medical conditions, or other relevant information that may affect participation.
Intellectual property
All content provided in our programmes, including materials, worksheets, and resources, is our intellectual property.
You may use materials for personal educational purposes but may not:
- Reproduce materials for commercial purposes
- Distribute materials to third parties
- Claim authorship of our content
- Use materials to deliver similar programmes
Photography and media
We may take photographs or videos during programmes for promotional and educational purposes.
We will seek explicit consent before using any images of children. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
If you do not consent to photography, please inform us and we will ensure your child is not included in any images.
Limitation of liability
Our programmes provide general financial education. They do not constitute professional financial advice.
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that programme content is error-free or suitable for all purposes.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Financial decisions made based on programme content
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from programme participation
- Issues arising from factors beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.
